Pastor Braden Patterson
Braden Patterson
Born, 1996; Born again, 2015; Married Emily, 2017; 4 children.
Braden was born to a devout LDS family in Boise, ID where he was raised alongside his four brothers by loving parents. He grew up faithfully adhering to LDS teachings and preparing for an LDS mission. During this time, Braden met his future wife, Emily. Through the Lord’s calling and providence, Braden was born again, recognizing that Jesus was his Lord and God, who had paid the price for his own sin on the hill of Calvary. Following his conversion, Braden developed a passion for glorifying God through the local church. He was ordained into pastoral ministry by faithful men at Eastside Baptist Church. He then served as the Pastor of Valley Baptist Church while also working full time as a firefighter for the city of Twin Falls, ID. Braden is currently attending Reformed Baptist Seminary. He was installed as the Pastor of Grace Bible Church on January 12th, 2025.
Elder Bruce Benyo

Born, 1961; Born again, 2014; Married Karen, 2003; 1 child
Bruce has lived in Southern California for most of his life, and has worked for 35 years in the insurance claims industry in various positions. After a time of falling away, Bruce was converted and found Grace Bible Church, where he has attended since 2014. He serves as a deacon and discipleship leader, teaches an adult Sunday School class, and leads the One Accord Home Fellowship. Bruce has been attending Leadership training for several years.
Elder Duval Capozzi

Born, 1966; Born again, 1983; Married Kathy, 1991; 1 child.
Once I got saved, I started learning and teaching shortly after at an in-prison ministry. I worked in the Biotech Industry for 33 years. I have served in many ministries inside and outside the church including serving as an Elder (2007-2017). I am looking forward to serving in this manner again.
Elder Jim Franco
JIM FRANCO
Born, 1953; Born again, 1994; Married to Lucy, 1992; 4 children.
Jim was born in Southern California into a false religion until the age of 13. He was then brought to acknowledge God and His creation while university professors could not explain why chemical elements existed the way they do. He came to know Christ in his mid 40’s and started attending GBC in 1999 after a bout with cancer. He has served as a deacon for over 10 years and an Elder for about 6 years while taking 2 years of online seminary classes thru Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary, and working full time as a Tax, Financial & Estate Planner in Thousand Oaks.
Deacon Dave Guth
Dave Guth
Born, 1954; Born again, 1970; Married Patricia, 1981.
David was born and raised in a liberal Christian denomination until the age of 16, when attending a Bible teaching church, he heard the Gospel for the first time. David was converted at that time. Since that time, God has shown his unfailing love to this sinner saved by grace. David as has served in leadership in two other churches over the last 30 years. He has attended Grace Bible Church since 2010. He serves as a deacon, a greeter, a vocalist in the music ministry, and leads street evangelism. David and Patti have owned a small general contracting business for over 30 years.
Deacon Vinicio Leones
Vinicio Leones
Born, 1965; Born again, 1997; Married Rosario, 1993; 1 daughter.
Vinicio was born in Ecuador and relocated to California at age 10. He met his wife, Rosario, in the 6th grade. In 1997, the Lord mercifully awakened Vinicio, giving him the gift of faith to believe the Gospel. Because Vinicio’s family was living in Moorpark and worshiping in Oxnard, he started praying and looking for a church where his family would get the whole counsel of God. By God’s grace, He led the Leones’ family to Grace Bible Church in 2012, where he and his wife serve in a number of ways. Vinicio serves as a deacon, usher, discipleship leader, and in other areas.
Deacon Francisco Rivera
Francisco Rivera
Born 1958; Born again 1980; Married Maria, 1988, 1 child.
Francisco was born and raised in the Philippines, where he grew up alongside three siblings. He graduated from high school in 1975 and went on to complete a 2-year Aircraft Maintenance course as a self-supporting student. He was subsequently employed at Philippine Airlines as an engine mechanic. It was during his time at the airline that Francisco came to know Christ as his Savior through a Bible study. After three years, he successfully passed the examination to join the U.S. Navy in 1980. In 1984, while stationed in the Philippines, Francisco met the woman who would become his wife at church, and the two were married in 1988. His wife accompanied him when he was later stationed in Idaho. Francisco honorably concluded military service in 1991. In the years that followed, he was employed by the Postal Service in Moorpark, where he served until his retirement in 2015. In 2008, Francisco and his family began attending Grace Bible Church in Moorpark. He remains an active and committed member, participating in the church's discipleship and cleanup groups. Most recently, he was ordained as a deacon of the church in May 2026.
Deacon Christopher Robledo
Christopher Robledo
Born 1989; Born again 2002; Married Kalila, 2019; 1 child.
Christopher grew up and lived in Moorpark for most of his life. For the first 6 years of his life, he did not attend church nor did he believe in God, but convinced himself that every form of religion was nothing more than wishful thinking. At age 7, he came to Grace Bible Church for the first time. After years of hearing the gospel, he was born again by the Holy Spirit during youth camp in the summer before 8th grade. He graduated from CSU Northridge in 2014 with a B.A. in Music- Breadth Studies. Christopher currently serves as a deacon, pianist in the music ministry, Sunday school teacher, and co-leader of a discipleship group.
